We foster an inclusive culture where people take ownership, solve meaningful problems, and continuously learn, because we believe diverse perspectives lead to better outcomes.Job PurposeAs a Senior CMM Programmer at VulcanForms Inc., located in Devens, MA, you will work closely with manufacturing engineering generating CMM programs for the various operations as product goes through from rough to finish product. You will use tools like Calypso and PC-DMIS to support CMM programming for our Quality and Operations teams.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, edit, and optimize CMM programs using different tools and engineering drawings to ensure accurate dimensional inspectionDesign fixturing to facilitate new product programsWork closely with Engineering and Production control to determine prioritiesDevelop and write procedures/work instructions supporting CMM programVerify Models developed in house and conduct prove-outsTrain operators in CMM operation, troubleshooting, and minor programmingProcure CMM tooling and act as the point of contact for CMM suppliersAssist with day to day functions in the Q.C. Lab as it pertains CMMsDevelop inspection plans as neededAssist CMM operators with any CMM issues.Qualifications6+ years of experience as a CMM ProgrammerStrong experience with Zeiss/Hexagon CMMs and programmingProficient knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y 14.5Experience working in regulated environmentKnowledge of machine tools and processesKnowledge of CAD based systemsAble to work with 3D modelsVulcanForms offers a competitive salary and equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. The annual base salary range for this position is $102,033.00 to $140,296.00.
