SharePoint Customer Engineer who will serve as a key technical resource supporting enterprise and government customers.
In this role, you'll work directly with customers to support, optimize, and modernize their SharePoint environments. You'll function as a trusted advisor, helping organizations maintain healthy on-premises deployments while planning for future upgrades and migrations to SharePoint Online.
Responsibilities
Provide proactive services including health assessments, technical workshops, training, and best practice guidance
Troubleshoot complex SharePoint, IIS, Active Directory, SQL Server, and infrastructure-related issues
Support SharePoint upgrades (2013, 2016, 2019)
Assist customers with migrations from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online (M365)
Build strong long-term relationships with assigned customers and become deeply familiar with their environments
Collaborate with Microsoft support, consulting teams, and product groups to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
Required Experience:
4+ years supporting or administering SharePoint 2013/2016/2019
Strong experience with SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365
Active Directory, IIS, and SQL Server administration
SharePoint performance, administration, customization, and troubleshooting
Networking fundamentals including DNS, TCP/IP, and subnetting
Excellent customer-facing communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
PowerShell scripting
MCSE or MCSA certifications
SharePoint Central Administration & SQL Management Studio
Experience with JavaScript, CSS, XML, and related web technologies
Technical consulting, training, and workshop delivery experience
