Details 24-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry floor Typical staffing ratios of 1:3 or 1:4 Comprehensive stroke center, Level II Trauma, and Chest Pain Accredited facility Provides complex care to PCI and open-heart surgery patients Night shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours Requirements Active RN license (State or Compact) in hand at time of consideration Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS Minimum 1 year of RN experience required Epic charting experience required Skilled in IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care/management Experienced in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and emergency response Familiar with use of Rapid Response/Code teams Experienced in managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) Skilled in non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions/PPE Additional Information Care for PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown patient population First-time travelers accepted for this position Travel pairs or groups not accepted Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation American Traveler Job ID P-736281.
