Shipping and Receiving Associate

Job Description

Heltronics is a small wire harness and electrical mechanical manufacturer located next to Reading Regional Airport. We are growing and are looking for a self motivated individual with shipping and receiving experience that can work well alone and with others, reliable and on time, and has attention to detail.

The Shipping and Receiving Associate plays a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations within a small team setting. This individual manages inventory flow, processes orders, and handles packages with a strong focus on accuracy and organization. The role requires attention to detail to maintain shipping documentation and support stock replenishment.

What we offer:

40 hour work week: M-Th 6:30 am - 4 pm, Fri 6:30 am - 10:30 am.
No weekends and closed all major holidays
Generous PTO time - Earn 1 week PTO in 6 months, 2 weeks in 1 year with increases over time

Responsibilities

Control and monitor inventory levels
Process incoming and outgoing orders efficiently
Handle packages with care and accuracy
Load and unload shipments safely
Maintain accurate shipping documentation
Organize warehouse space for optimal workflow
Receive shipments and verify contents
Replenish stock as needed and ensures items are put in the correct designated areas.

Required Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving
Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
Able to traverse stairs, sometimes multiple times daily and with packages.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with inventory management
Familiarity with shipping software
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail
Effective teamwork skills
Clear and concise communication abilities
