Patient Services Specialist - Behavioral Health

Overview Patient Service Specialists are responsible for coordinating patient flow in our behavioral health and psychiatry clinics. They provide customer service, guiding patients through check‑in, registration, billing/financial assistance, insurance processes, and collaborate with clinical teams to support scheduling and clinic operations. Responsibilities Patient registration and appointment scheduling for routine and basic healthcare services Assist with check‑in, billing, financial assistance, and insurance processes Coordinate patient flow and support clinical teams for scheduling, clinic operations, and other administrative tasks Maintain accurate records and perform general clerical duties Required Qualifications 1 year of medical office or related healthcare experience, or 6 months as a Providence Associate PSS Benefits Providence offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a retirement 401(k) savings plan with employer matching; health care benefits (medical, dental, vision); life and disability insurance; paid parental leave, vacations, holidays, and health‑issue time off; voluntary benefits; and well‑being resources.
