Buyer

Adecco is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to manage purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and inventory performance at a local plastics manufacturer in Boise, ID. This role works cross-functionally with supply chain, engineering, and operations teams to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement and support production needs.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and track purchase orders and requisitions

• Maintain optimal inventory levels through forecasting and demand planning

• Analyze trends, historical data, and "what-if" scenarios to guide purchasing decisions

• Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, and lead times) and support negotiations

• Maintain accurate vendor, purchasing, and order data in internal systems

• Collaborate with internal teams on production and engineering requirements

• Support supplier setup, issue resolution, and ongoing relationship management

• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience preferred

• Experience with electronics, PCB/PCBA, or semiconductors is a plus

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

• High attention to detail, accountability, and problem-solving ability

Work Environment & Additional Info

Pay: $40-$50 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Location: Boise

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
