Human Resources Coordinator

Oversee budget management, planning and expenditure control for HR operations and salary budget. Coordinate with department directors to ensure they have appropriate resources to manage their operations (i.e. equipment, supplies, staffing, etc.). Prepare budget by forecasting operating needs, monitoring expenses, preparing expenditure documentation, and developing necessary reports. Schedule and manage the calendar for the AVP/Chief HR Officer and the HR Leadership team. Schedule department meetings with internal/external stakeholders. Work collaboratively with administrators across divisions and departments and advise HR staff of time-sensitive and priority matters. Communicate and monitor departmental and University deadlines related to programs, initiatives, and assignments. Coordinate departmental operations including equipment inventory management, monitoring and maintaining inventory of office supplies, processing reorders, tracking temporary funding and completing hiring actions for HR staff including student and temporary employees. Coordinate travel and reimbursement processes for HR staff and support onboarding activities for new HR employees. Assist with the creation and maintenance of policies in Policy Tech, including updates driven by regulatory changes and emerging trends. Support internal HR units with engagement initiatives and special projects such as open enrollment, benefits fairs, retirement seminars, and high-volume training sessions. Coordinate scheduling, logistics (room reservations, refreshments, etc.) and supports HR events, awards programs, and related activities. Serve as the department’s Communication Coordinator, by managing the website and social media updates. Create and review campus notices; coordinate and prepare HR newsletters, announcements, and process updates. Serve as primary liaison between HR and key internal and external stakeholders. Manage the HR primary email account and provide back-up support for HR Service Center staff as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr Choose901
