Industrial Maintenance Technician
Are you an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician looking for an opportunity to put your mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to work?
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to help keep manufacturing equipment running safely and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, hands-on repairs, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on industrial machinery and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain, repair, and replace motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and other production equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical diagrams, and manuals.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and respond quickly to emergency repair needs.
- Assist with installation of new equipment, upgrades, and modifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment safely.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
- Work closely with production and other departments to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all company safety policies.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and basic control systems is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and perform hands-on physical work.
- Willingness to work a 2/2/3 schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Electrical, welding, or HVAC maintenance certifications.
- Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
