Position Details Role: Certified Veterinary Technician Status: Full-time Salary: $27–$30 per hour Schedule: Rotating 4‑day schedule. Occasional Saturdays may be needed. Responsibilities Preparation of surgical suite, including instruments and equipment Safe and effective patient handling and restraint Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients Emergency and surgical care, including IV catheter placement and intubation Obtaining diagnostics such as radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in‑house laboratory work Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions Qualifications Dedication to patient safety, comfort, and overall well‑being Attention to detail and organizational skills Time management and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment Dedication to teamwork and collaboration Our Commitment to Diversity Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are core values at New England Veterinary Clinic & Pet Resort and Vetcor.
