Senior Software Engineer

Description Designs, develops, and maintains complex software solutions for Avum's government applications. Provides technical leadership through mentoring, code review, and architectural guidance. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend services and application features (Java, Spring Boot) Lead code quality through peer reviews, best practices enforcement, and documentation Troubleshoot and resolve production/pre-production issues with root cause analysis Mentor junior and mid-level developers on technical skills and best practices Serve as technical point of contact for cross-functional teams and stakeholders Contribute to architecture decisions and technology evaluation Support deployment, performance optimization, and technical debt reduction Compensation The salary range for this position is $115,000 – $160,000 annually, with a target midpoint of $138,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and geographic location.
