Radiologic Technologist – Radiology

Schedule: 5-8 hour days with shared call rotation Day Shift, Monday - Friday

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT license; ARRT (CT) preferred
• State of Maine license
• BLS Certification
• One year of experience required
• Recent experience working independently in both diagnostic X-ray and CT
• Ability to use multiple computer systems
• Proficiency in routine diagnostic X-ray, CT imaging, trauma imaging, IV contrast administration, and mobile/portable bedside imaging
• Ability and willingness to provide X-ray coverage in the OR as needed
• Flexibility to support OR and overall department staffing needs
• Covid-19 vaccination required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT procedures independently.
• Administer IV contrast as required for imaging procedures.
• Provide imaging support in trauma situations.
• Ensure highest quality images while adhering to safety protocols.
• Participate in call coverage, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure effective patient care.

• Occasional evening and weekend coverage may be required.
