Job DescriptionRoad Warrior Staffing is hiring experienced CDL A Drivers for a Midwest Regional trucking position operating within approximately a 350–450 mile radius of Chicago.\nThis regional CDL A driving position offers weekly home time, $0.70 CPM, approximately 2,000 miles per week, 99% no-touch freight, modern 2023–2027 equipment, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.\nDrivers will be home each week for their 34-hour reset and must be comfortable with night driving.\nIf you're an experienced CDL A driver looking for regional trucking jobs with weekly home time, competitive pay, modern equipment, and strong benefits, this opportunity may be a great fit.Driver Pay Compensation\n\n $0.70 CPM base pay\n Approximately 2,000 miles per week\n $1,260–$1,650 average weekly pay range\n Empty miles paid at the same CPM as loaded miles\n $2,500 sign-on bonus\n $100 Clean Inspection Bonus\n $2,000 Driver Referral Bonus\n $50 per additional stop\n $25 per hour detention pay after the first 2 hours\n $175 layover pay for every 24 hours\n $150 orientation pay\nDuties\n\n This Midwest Regional CDL A Driver position is best suited for drivers who are comfortable with:\n Approximately 2,000 miles per week\n Regional driving within a 350–450 mile radius of Chicago\n Weekly 34-hour resets\n Night driving\n Approximately 99% no-touch freight\n Modern equipment\n Maintaining a strong safety record\nQualifications\nCDL A Driver Requirements\nTo qualify for this Midwest Regional CDL A Driver position, applicants must:\n\n Have at least 6 months of verifiable CDL driving experience\n Hold a valid CDL\n Be at least 21 years old\n Meet company and insurance qualification requirements\n Pass required MVR and PSP reviews\n Meet the company's accident and violation standards\n Accident Driving Record Requirements\n Preventable / Chargeable Accidents\n No more than 3 preventable or chargeable accidents within the previous 3 years.\n Moving Violations\n Drivers must have:\n No more than 3 moving violations within a 3-year period, OR\n No more than 20 points under the SMS Unsafe Driver Basic Violation Table\n\nWhichever qualification threshold is reached first will disqualify the applicant.\nBoth MVR and PSP records will be reviewed during the qualification process.\nMajor Driving Violations\nNo major violations within the previous 3 years, including:\n\n Leaving the scene of an accident or hit and run\n Using a motor vehicle to commit a felony\n Driving while a license is revoked, suspended, cancelled, or disqualified\n Reckless driving\n Careless driving\n Negligent driving\n Speeding more than 21 MPH over the posted speed limit\n Improper or erratic lane change involving an accident\n Racing violations\n Passing a school bus\n Cell phone violations\n Texting while driving\n Driver Fitness Requirements\n\nDrivers must have no more than 20 points within a 3-year period under the SMS Driver Fitness Basic Violation Table.\nBoth MVR and PSP records will be reviewed and calculated during the driver qualification process.\nDUI Requirement\nNo DUI within the previous 5 years.\nEnglish Language Requirement\nAll drivers must be able to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to:\n\n Converse with the general public\n Understand highway traffic signs and signals\n Respond to official inquiries\n Complete required reports and records\nBenefits\nCDL A Driver Benefits\nFull-time drivers have access to:\n\n Health Insurance\n Dental Insurance\n Vision Insurance\n Voluntary Life Insurance\n \ADD Insurance\n Disability Insurance\n 401(k) Retirement Plan\n Employer 401(k) matching contributions available\n Paid Time Off (PTO)\n Midwest Regional Driver Schedule\n\nOperating Area:\n Approximately 350–450 miles from Chicago\nMileage:\n Approximately 2,000 miles per week\nHome Time:\n Home every week for a 34-hour reset\nDriving:\n Night driving required\nFreight:\n Approximately 99% no-touch\nModern Truck Fleet\nDrivers operate modern equipment designed for comfort, reliability, and efficiency.\nApproximately 90% of the fleet consists of Peterbilt 579 trucks, with additional Cascadia, Volvo, and International models.\nThe fleet includes 2023–2027 model-year trucks.\nDriver Equipment Support\n\n Modern 2023–2027 trucks\n Peterbilt 579s, Cascadias, Volvos, and Internationals\n In-house repair shop\n Well-maintained equipment\n 24/7 driver support\n\nRoad Warrior Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
