Position: Occupational Therapist

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Unit Information

Location: Denton, TX

Number of Beds: 205 (Level II Trauma Center)
Number of Staff:
- Physical Therapists: 20
- Occupational Therapists: 12
Patient Ratios: 12 patients per day
Type of Equipment: Standard for rehabilitation services
Electronic Medical Record System: Meditech

Qualifications

Required: Must hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Texas.
Preferred: Acute care experience, particularly with complex trauma and complex neuro patients.

Typical Procedures

The focus will be on standard mobility and Activities of Daily Living (ADL).

Ideal Candidate

The best personality fit for this position is someone who demonstrates a high level of accountability and the ability to work autonomously.

Floating Requirements

The Occupational Therapist may be required to cover various areas of the hospital.

Dress Code

Scrub color: Hunter Green

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

The position requires coverage for either a Saturday or Sunday shift every week while on contract.
