Now Hiring: Kitchen Assistant Manager
Location: Marietta, OH Pay: Based on Experience Schedule: Flexible Schedule | Includes Evenings, Weekends & Holidays Mancan Staffing Marietta is currently seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant Manager to join a growing restaurant team! This is a great opportunity for an experienced kitchen professional who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high food quality standards, and helping create an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, dependable leader, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities:Assist with daily kitchen operations and support kitchen staff
Supervise and provide guidance to cooks and prep staff during shifts
Ensure food is prepared consistently according to recipes and quality standards
Train, coach, and motivate team members while promoting teamwork
Monitor food quality, portion control, inventory, and kitchen organization
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment
Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies
Help coordinate schedules and ensure proper staffing
Report equipment issues and assist with maintaining kitchen operations
Step into leadership responsibilities when the Kitchen Manager is unavailable Qualifications:
Previous restaurant kitchen experience required
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
Dependable, professional, and committed to quality
