Job Overview PCI is seeking an experienced Mechanical Insulation Estimator for its PCI Kansas City 587 operations based in Lenexa, KS . This individual will create comprehensive estimates for bidding prospective mechanical insulation work. The role includes: Performing quantity takeoffs on construction projects Maintain positive relationships with area vendors for competitive material and equipment pricing Solicit subcontractor pricing for work done outside of our self‑perform group Understand the market conditions including competitive approach, backlog, level or risk for work, and other factors for establishing margin percentages Be involved in internal bid reviews with supervisors and the project team Participate in the customer‑alignment objectives of the branch by creating and maintaining positive customer relations Contract administration for secured projects Prepare wage and benefit schedules Assist in the hand‑off of secured projects to the Operations Team Assist in other duties as assigned such as change‑order management or billings, depending on the project(s) Salary range: $ annual base salary plus eligibility for the non‑guaranteed annualized bonus program This role is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship. This position is safety sensitive.
