Wind Field Service Technician III (Travel) - Bronco Plains- Flagler, CO

Position Specific Description: This is a traveling wind tech position based out of Flagler, Colorado. As a Wind Field Service Technician, you will be the critical front line to ensure the safe and optimal performance of all wind farm operations. You will primarily focus on the safe execution of field-based equipment maintenance, diagnostics, as well as long-term reliability and profitability. This position will require 100% traveling within the area supporting multiple wind sites.

Job Overview: Employees in this entry-level role perform maintenance and repair activities on wind turbine generators. Individuals conduct precision measurement, generator alignment, bearing replacement, and torque checks.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Travels extensively with little or no notice within the entire company fleet
• Performs maintenance and repair on wind turbine power generation equipment
• Performs electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities, and tooling
• Completes Safety Mentor training curriculum with 6 months of initial hire
• Completes Wind Field Service Technician III training curriculum within first year
• Ability to meet attendance requirements
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School Grad / GED
• 0+ years experience
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
• Ability to climb a wind turbine up to 300 feet

• Associate's Degree

The base pay range for this position is $24.62 to $36.92 per hour. This range represents the expected base pay for a successful candidate and is based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, and internal equity.
