About Corewell Health Trenton Hospital

Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961. It became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients, the hospital offers all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit and obstetrical care.

Scope of Work

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered MRI technologist, performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures. Selects and appropriate surface coils and associated equipment in preparation for registered MRI technologist to perform study. Positions patient and equipment to best demonstrate the anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma
• 1 year of relevant experience must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program Preferred
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
