Overview $10,000 Sign-On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates Nmble Medical is partnering with a leading medical organization in the Saginaw Metropolitan Area to recruit a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced healthcare professionals while utilizing advanced imaging technology to support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient outcomes. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring the highest quality imaging with the lowest possible radiation exposure for patients and staff. This role requires strong technical expertise, critical thinking, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Responsibilities Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging. Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Accurately position patients and imaging equipment to demonstrate the anatomy being examined. Utilize advanced anatomical knowledge and technical expertise to obtain optimal imaging results. Adjust exposure factors and imaging techniques based on patient condition, anatomy, and physician order. Patient Care & Safety Provide appropriate radiation protection for patients, physicians, and staff according to established safety standards. Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and address concerns with professionalism and compassion. Administer radiologic contrast media and medications as required. Recognize and respond appropriately to allergic reactions or adverse events related to contrast administration. Practice sterile technique and assist physicians during sterile procedures when needed. Clinical & Department Support Perform portable and surgical radiographic procedures as assigned. Utilize Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and imaging software to manage patient exams and documentation. Initiate requisitions, acknowledge exams, and modify charges within the electronic system. Identify and report equipment malfunctions promptly. Participate in departmental meetings, continuing education, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist certification (or ability to obtain within one year of hire). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire). Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, radiation safety, and imaging techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred One (1) year of clinical radiology experience. Experience with Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS). Previous experience performing fluoroscopic, portable, and surgical imaging procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the workday. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and positioning of patients and equipment. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive movements involving reaching, grasping, and handling equipment.
