Restaurant General Manager

We are seeking a General Manager for an award-winning upscale steakhouse within a premier luxury hotel in the heart of downtown Nashville . General Manager Responsibilities: Lead all daily restaurant operations while ensuring exceptional service and dining experiences. Drive financial performance through effective labor management, inventory control, and cost optimization. Recruit, train, mentor, and develop a high‑performing front‑of‑house team. Maintain the highest standards of food quality, sanitation, safety, and overall restaurant presentation. Partner with culinary leadership to achieve operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and profitability. Partner with other departments to ensure success. General Manager Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of restaurant management experience in a fine dining or upscale steakhouse environment. Strong preference for a current restaurant general manager. Proven leadership experience managing high‑volume restaurant operations. Strong financial management skills, including labor, food and beverage cost controls, and P&L accountability. ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain). Excellent communication, coaching, and team development skills. General Manager Preferred Background & Skills: Luxury hotel, resort, or nationally recognized steakhouse experience. Passion for delivering elevated guest experiences and hospitality. Hands‑on leadership style with a strong focus on culture and employee engagement. Experience with wine‑driven dining concepts and upscale service standards.
