What You'll Do:

• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assist physicians and nursing staff during a variety of surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and an aseptic environment throughout procedures.
• Support patient preparation, transportation, and post-procedure care activities.
• Handle specimens and ensure timely transport to appropriate departments.
• Monitor inventory, restock supplies, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Assist with patient comfort, safety, and quality care initiatives.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, students, and fellow team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and departmental projects.

Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Operating Room Technology or
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.

Experience:

• One year of Surgical Technologist or LPN experience preferred, but motivated candidates are encouraged to apply.

Certifications:

• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of hire.
• Illinois LPN License required for LPN candidates.

Compensation:

Hourly Range - $25.25-$39.38
