Job Description:

This role involves working in the telemetry unit, which serves as a holding area in the ER for patients moving to the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry floors. Responsibilities include providing care to an elderly population with lots of critical care and medically challenged patients.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting.
Monitor telemetry and report changes to the healthcare team promptly.
Float within the hospital as needed.
Support the hospital's weekend rotation and holiday requirements, either the 4th of July or Labor Day.

Requirements:

2+ years of medical-surgical telemetry experience.
Illinois RN License.
Certificates: CPR, ACLS, BLS.
Epic experience and ability to pass an EKG test.
