Job Description

The Warehouse Coordinator oversees the flow of materials and finished goods throughout a large warehouse facility, ensuring accurate inventory management, compliant operations, and timely shipping and receiving. This role supports production by coordinating palletizers, transfers, rails, shipments, and inbound supplies, while maintaining strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of all palletizers, transfers, rails, shipments, inbound supplies, and trucks to ensure efficient movement of materials and finished product throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with daily inventory activities, including storage and movement of all packaging materials, ingredients, and finished product to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Help enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal standards as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, fire codes, insurance guidelines, sanitation requirements, pest control standards, safety protocols, OSHA regulations, FDA regulations, and TTB guidelines.
• Oversee proper shipment of finished product and packaging materials, ensuring correct documentation, labeling, and handling.
• Manage stock rotation to ensure product freshness and adherence to quality standards, following first-in, first-out (FIFO) or other rotation methods as required.
• Enter purchase orders (P.O.) and returned material authorizations (RMA) into the system, accurately recording finished product and shipping material receipts.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by verifying incoming and outgoing loads, checking documentation, and updating inventory systems.
• Perform inventory control tasks, including cycle counts and reconciliation of physical inventory with system records.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials.
• Use RF scanners and related technology to track inventory movement, confirm picks, and update warehouse management systems.
• Collaborate with production workers and other warehouse staff to ensure timely supply of materials to batch-making machines and other production areas.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in a warehouse coordination or similar role, with hands-on responsibility for inventory, shipping, and receiving activities.
• Strong background in inventory control and inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and in accordance with warehouse procedures.
• Experience using RF scanners or similar handheld devices for tracking inventory and processing orders.
• Working knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including documentation, verification, and system entry.
• Understanding of compliance requirements related to GMP, fire codes, insurance guidelines, sanitation, pest control, safety, OSHA, FDA, and TTB regulations.
• Proficiency in entering and managing purchase orders (P.O.) and returned material authorizations (RMA) within warehouse or ERP systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory data, documentation, and material movement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a large warehouse or production facility with batch-making or manufacturing equipment.
• Experience as a production worker or in a role supporting manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with stock rotation methods such as FIFO to maintain product quality.
• Comfort using basic computer systems and warehouse management software for data entry and inventory tracking.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with warehouse, production, and logistics teams.
• Organizational skills to manage priorities and maintain orderly storage of materials and finished goods.

Work Environment

Daily tasks involve operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, using RF scanners, and coordinating closely with production and shipping teams. The setting requires adherence to safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards, with a focus on maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant operation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, PA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
