(USA) Member Specialist

Responsibilities Provides member service, maintains checkout area, resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam's Club products and services, guides members regarding self-service technology, processes member purchases, assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies, and follows safety standards including safety sweeps. Handles merchandise properly, reports unsafe situations to facility management, maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership cards, assists members with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, assists with transporting items, and maintains a safe shopping environment. Monitors and secures Sam's Club assets, maintains paperwork and logs, executes emergency response procedures, and ensures compliance with security and safety practices. Trains Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, teaches new technology and tool functionality, delivers new program rollout training, and provides continuous learning opportunities. Zones the area, arranges and organizes merchandise, identifies shrink and damages, and handles returns properly. Applies company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, and uses the Open Door Policy in business processes. Completes work assignments by prioritizing using policies, data, resources, and collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of hourly premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
