OT - Occupational Therapist

Registered Nurse - CVA Rehabilitation
This is a 13-week contract position.
5x8 Hour Shift: 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, with a requirement for every third weekend.
The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients with traumatic brain injuries in a dynamic rehabilitation setting. The role involves working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
- Coordinate with physical therapy and rehabilitation staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to interventions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with safety and rehabilitation protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing role, with CVA rehabilitation experience required.
- Active RN license in Maryland or Compact License at the time of submission.
- BLS certification required; CPI certification preferred.
