Safety Associate - NJ Licensed

Providing remote support and monitoring, the per diem Safety Associate - NJ Licensed will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort during assigned shifts from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Key responsibilities Observes and reports changes in patient condition or behavior to appropriate staff Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the interprofessional team to promote coordinated care Completes necessary documentation and reports in accordance with health information standards Required qualifications High School Diploma/GED or equivalent Knowledge of patient rights and safety protocols in a healthcare environment Completion of Patient/Sitter Companion Program and/or De-Escalation class preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is preferred Less than 1 year of previous related experience in a clinical setting is preferred
