In 2026, DH Pace is celebrating its 100th anniversary in business. Position Summary DH Pace Company, Inc. is hiring a Project Manager in our National Accounts Facilities department. This role is located on-site at our corporate headquarters in Olathe, KS. Successful Project Managers ensure construction project objectives are met by specified dates and within budget by partnering with general contractors and managing submittals, plans, and specifications. We are seeking candidates who have a Construction Management degree with at least three (3) years of work experience as a Construction Project Engineer or Construction Assistant Project Manager for a construction company, sub-contractor, or Owners Representative. Job Responsibilities Review construction project plans and specifications to determine materials needed, order materials, operate within customer specified budget parameters, and work with outside vendors to coordinate schedules and installs. Direct and coordinate activities to ensure projects are progressing on schedule and within the budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and clients and provide updates as needed. Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers and effectively communicate the technical findings of technicians to our clients and customers. Master project coordinating and problem solving by using good judgment and forecasting. Follow administrative procedures and processes for the management of projects on time and under budget. Monitor and review all projects to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met. Monitor submittals/track job materials. Determine innovative solutions to any/all problems concerning execution of jobs. Help maintain job files by gathering information to ensure projects are completed and billed accurately. Work with our strategic partners and internal service team in establishing and adhering to service level agreements. Maintain and promote a positive attitude toward customers and fellow employees regardless of the circumstances. Other responsibilities as assigned. Job Qualifications Construction Management Degree with at least Three (3) years’ experience as a Construction Project Engineer or Construction Assistant Project Manager for a construction company, sub-contractor, or Owners Representative. High attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-focused work environment. Familiarity with the construction process from bidding, RFI, submittals, contracts, change orders, site safety/mgmt., progress meetings, Procore, and project closeout. Mechanically minded or inclined. Strong mathematical ability; must verify bids for accuracy. Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent communication, customer relations, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability for intermittent travel.
