Flatbed Semi Driver

Jones & Sons is looking to hire a Flatbed Semi Driver at our Bloomfield, IN location. Started in 1971, we are a family owned and operated business with locations in Bloomfield, Clinton, Linton, Terre Haute, Vincennes and Washington, IN. Our core activities include Ready Mixed Concrete, Block, Brick, Precast Concrete, and Aggregates servicing Southwest Indiana.

Operator Benefits:

• Full-time position
• Local routes; Home daily
• Starting pay depends on experience and driving record, minimum $24/hr

Variety of things you'll do:

• Flatbed truck deliveries of various items including concrete block, brick and concrete precast structures
• Help with loading and unloading truck with use of a forklift
• May be trained on other equipment and may work in other areas of plant as needed

Job Requirements:

• Class A CDL
• Knowledge of flatbed operation a plus
• Be able to tarp loads when needed
• Experience operating a forklift a plus
• Ability to secure uneven loads
• Ability to climb on and off flatbed trailer
• Job requires physical dexterity and ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds
• Help promote a culture of safety
• Pass pre-employment and random drug screens
• Pass criminal background check and driving record review

Compensation details: 24-24 Hourly Wage
