About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Orange, California, 92868!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required. License: Must have an active state RN license. Certifications: BLS, PALS required. Must-Have: CVOR experience is required; Pediatric CVOR preferred. Description: Pediatric CVOR position available for 3x12 hours shifts on days. Candidates must start on 08/10 or 08/31. CVOR experience is required, with a preference for Pediatric CVOR for all pediatric cardiac cases. Call requirements include 1-2 weekends per month. Travelers are expected to work 72 hours plus 8 days per month, depending on scheduling. Floating to the main OR is required. Responsibilities include care for congenital hearts and other cardiac surgeries. Travelers will also be expected to take care of general OR patients. Candidates must confirm their agreement with the weekend and call requirements listed in the job description. References from supervisor-level or above are required, dated within 1 year of the start date. Max of 7 days of time off is allowed; no requests for time off are permitted within the first week of the assignment. All submissions must be from clinicians who have an active license at the time of application. Local candidates are not accepted. References must be from the unit being applied for. DNRs from merged hospitals will not be considered for employment. Rehire eligibility is subject to review by leadership. Additional modules may be required, which will be billable when completed during the orientation period.
