CNA - LTC/SNF

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide compassionate and efficient nursing assistance to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting. Ensure residents' safety, comfort, and well-being through attentive care and support.

Responsibilities:

Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
Monitor and record residents' vital signs and health status.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Follow established care plans and document care provided accurately.
Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with facility policies.
Support team members during shift changes and coordinate resident care needs.

Qualifications:

Current CNA certification and valid state license.
Proven experience working in LTC or SNF settings preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate compassion.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
Must adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
Flexibility to work weekends and various shifts as required.
