Job Description

General Laborer

Pay: $16.00/hr starting pay with increases upon hire-on
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 5:00AM-2:30PM (overtime available)
One Saturday per month required
Schedule may vary based on production needs

Express Employment Professionals of Ottawa is partnered with an industrial warehouse in Morris, IL currently seeking General Laborers to join their growing team. This is a hands-on opportunity for individuals looking for steady hours, weekly pay, and long-term potential with room for growth.

Job Overview:

The General Laborer will assist with refurbishing propane tanks and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. Candidates should be comfortable performing physical work, standing for extended periods, and working both independently and with a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Refurbish propane tanks
Wash and clean tanks
Scrape and prep materials
Fill tanks as needed
Palletize finished products
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety procedures and production guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements:

Previous industrial or warehouse experience preferred
Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to follow directions and safety procedures
