We are looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to support a busy healthcare team. This contract position focuses on creating a smooth experience for patients by coordinating visits, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing attentive front-line assistance. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing scheduling and administrative tasks in a patient-centered setting.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient and provider appointments by arranging visits, confirming schedules, and helping maintain an efficient daily calendar.

• Maintain and update patient medical records with accuracy, completeness, and attention to confidentiality standards.

• Respond to patient questions and provide clear guidance regarding appointments, documentation, and routine next steps.

• Support insurance referral and verification activities to help confirm coverage and authorization requirements.

• Communicate with clinical and administrative staff to keep patient information current and appointment flow organized.

• Experience supporting patient scheduling or appointment coordination in a healthcare setting.
• Working knowledge of patient medical records processes and the importance of accurate documentation.
• Ability to assist patients professionally and communicate clearly in person and by phone.
• Familiarity with check-in procedures and general front-office patient support responsibilities.
• Experience handling insurance referrals and benefit verifications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
