The Concrete Footings & Foundations Crew Leader oversees a medium-sized crew of 6-10 workers focused primarily on residential concrete construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship, enforcing safety standards, managing materials, and coordinating daily site activities. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Crew Leader plays a critical role in maintaining project schedules and facilitating clear communication among team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a crew of 6-10 concrete workers to execute footings and foundation tasks effectively
• Ensure quality control by inspecting work to meet project specifications and standards
• Enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
• Manage materials and equipment to optimize site efficiency
• Interpret and apply blueprints for accurate project execution
• Report progress regularly to the Project Manager
• Coordinate team efforts to meet project deadlines
• Conduct site inspections and address any issues promptly

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in concrete construction
• Valid driver’s license
• Proficient in concrete finishing and blueprint reading
• Demonstrated leadership in managing construction crews
• Strong commitment to safety compliance
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time management abilities
