Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Fundraising & Administrative Assistant for a long-term contract opportunity with a respected nonprofit organization. This role will support the planning and execution of a major fundraising event and assist with donor outreach, marketing support, and general administrative functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys relationship-building, event support, and mission-driven work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and execution of a signature fundraising event
  • Contact donors via email, phone, and direct mail to encourage donations, event attendance, ticket purchases, and referrals
  • Maintain and update donor information using Excel and Salesforce
  • Create promotional materials for silent auction and fundraising initiatives using Canva
  • Assist with donor acknowledgments and thank-you correspondence
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the development team
  • Help coordinate fundraising communications and event-related activities

Qualifications:

  • Previous fundraising, donor relations, nonprofit, customer service, or outreach experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Administrative support experience required

Schedule:

  • Part-time, 3 days per week
  • Approximately 9:30 AM – 5:00/5:30 PM

Work Environment:

  • Onsite position
  • Business casual dress code

Required Qualifications

  • Administrative support or clerical experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting fundraising, donor relations, nonprofit organizations, or event planning
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM/database systems
  • Experience using Canva to create marketing or promotional materials
  • Experience with donor outreach, customer service, or relationship management

Key Responsibilities Candidates Must Be Able to Perform

  • Conduct donor outreach via phone, email, and direct mail
  • Maintain donor records and track communications in Excel and Salesforce
  • Create promotional materials for fundraising and silent auction activities
  • Prepare donor acknowledgments and thank-you correspondence
  • Support fundraising event planning and execution
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
