As a Sr. Workday Integrations Developer on the People Systems team, you'll design, build, and maintain the integrations that connect our people systems — ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable data flow across our global ecosystem as Snowflake continues to grow.This is a hybrid role based in our Dublin, CA or Menlo Park, CA offices with 3 days a week in-office attendance required.What You'll DoDesign, build, test, and maintain Workday integrations using technologies such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST)Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutionsProvide production support for integrations, including monitoring, troubleshooting failures, performing root cause analysis, and implementing fixesDevelop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third-party systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, finance, IT systems)Design, build, and maintain integrations between Workday and our own instance of Snowflake to enable scalable people data pipelines, reporting, and advanced analyticsEnsure data accuracy, integrity, and security across integrations, adhering to governance, compliance, and privacy standardsManage integration deployments across tenants and support Workday release cycles, including impact analysis and regression testingCreate and maintain technical documentation for integrations, data mappings, and processesContinuously identify opportunities to improve integration performance, scalability, and reliabilityPromote best practices in integration design, error handling, and monitoring to ensure system stabilityLeverage AI tools to accelerate development, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance troubleshooting and documentationOUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:8+ years of hands-on Workday integration development experience in a global environmentStrong experience with Workday integration tools including Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs (SOAP/REST), Workday Extend, OrchestrateProficiency in XML, XSLT, JSON, and web services technologiesExperience with integration middleware or iPaaS solutions (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft) is a plusSolid understanding of Workday data models, business objects, and security frameworkFamiliarity with HR processes, employee lifecycle data, and downstream system integrationsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex integration issuesExperience with monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and integration error handling best practicesCuriosity and experience experimenting with and building solutions using AI tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, or Workday AgentsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality and attention to detailQuick learner who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building scalable, efficient solutionsOperate with a customer service mindset, can-do attitude, and grace under pressureEvery Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company’s confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data.
