What you will enjoy doing*

• In this role, you will lead day-to-day operations within the assigned cell, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and schedule commitments are consistently achieved
• You will provide hands-on leadership on the shop floor, reinforcing expectations, addressing issues in real time, and ensuring adherence to standard work
• Further, you will coordinate staffing, shift coverage, and overtime within the cell to meet production demands
• You will coach and develop Team Members, reinforcing accountability, performance expectations, and corrective actions when needed
• Additionally, you will apply, own, and drive Lean Production System principles within the cell, including waste identification (Muda), continuous improvement (Kaizen), and standard work, to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• You will identify and resolve production issues using structured problem-solving, escalating as needed to minimize downtime and disruption
• You will support continuous improvement initiatives and perform additional responsibilities as required based on business needs

What makes you great

• You have a PhD with 0-3 years of related experience, OR Master's degree with 5+ years, OR Bachelor's degree with 6+ years, OR 12+ years of directly related manufacturing experience
• You have experience leading teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment with accountability for safety, quality, and performance
• Demonstrated ability to coach employees and support performance management and corrective action processes
• Foundational understanding of Lean Production System principles, including respect for people, Kaizen, Muda, and structured problem-solving, with the ability to apply, own, and drive improvements within the cell
• You have the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment and ensure adherence to operational standards
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across operations, maintenance, and support functions
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors including humility, transparency, accountability, and continuous learning
