Project Scheduler CONTRACT

The Project Scheduler I is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing and engineering projects across Holtec International’s Advanced Manufacturing Division (AMD). The Project Scheduler I assists with the development, maintenance, and analysis of detailed project schedules to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with company objectives. This role serves as a key coordination point between manufacturing, engineering, procurement, quality, and project management teams to support efficient project execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and maintenance of detailed, resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6 scheduling software. Regularly update project schedules based on input from manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and project management teams to accurately reflect project progress and scope changes. Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and critical path activities to ensure alignment with project objectives and schedule commitments. Assist with preparation of weekly and monthly project status reports, including schedule variances, potential delays, and resource constraints. Support integration of Primavera P6 schedules with Holtec’s internal shop instruction software for live schedule updates. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather scheduling data and maintain effective communication regarding project status and priorities. Apply basic Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to support baseline schedule development and project performance analysis. Analyze scheduling data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement. Maintain organized records of schedule revisions, baseline updates, and project correspondence. Ability to handle multiple tasks and complete work in a timely fashion with minimal supervision. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. As well as strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities. U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident status.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in project scheduling, project management, manufacturing operations, or a related field. Experience or familiarity with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other project scheduling software preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or the energy/nuclear industry preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Compensation:

Annual compensation based on skills and experience ranging from $85,000 - $100,000.
