Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification or licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist, with credentials appropriate to the imaging specialty
• Demonstrated experience in diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures
• Proficiency with Cath Lab imaging equipment and software
• Familiarity with sterile technique and radiation safety guidelines
• Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced clinical settings
• CPR/BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Prior experience in a similar role within a hospital or cardiology setting

Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization, angiographic studies, and related procedures
• Prepare and maintain cath lab environment, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and ready for use
• Assist physicians with catheter insertions, wire placements, stent deployments, and device manipulations
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and safety throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation and records in compliance with facility standards
• Perform quality assurance checks and assist with inventory management of lab supplies
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and ancillary staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
