Contract Support

Position Summary We are recruiting for a Contracting Support Professional for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services (EPASS) Contract at Peterson SFB, in Colorado Springs, CO supporting the Strategic Warning and Surveillance Systems Directorate (SSC/ECQ) in the United States Space Force. Their mission is to modernize and sustain Missile Warning, Missile Defense, Space Domain Awareness and Command and Control capabilities for the homeland and our allies. This role provides hands-on contract support to the program contracting team here in Colorado Springs. The ideal person will be detail-oriented, self-started, and resourceful. This role allows for up to 40-60 % telework for anyone local to the Colorado Springs, CO area. Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to: Provide Price/Cost evaluation support. The candidate shall not participate in any negotiations.Conduct contract close-out activities.Conduct administrative contract support actions.Be capable of data collection/compilation/analysis.Prepare and file memorandums and source documents for contract actions.Provide clerical/administrative/office operations support.Complete and conduct training associated with contract activities.Perform other duties as requested by the Government and within the constraints of the EPASS contract Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:Citizenship: Must be a U.S. CitizenClearance:Must be able to obtain and maintain a Valid DoD Secret clearanceEducation: BS/BA degreeYears of Experience:Eight-Ten (8-10) years or more experience in Contracting support, data collection, and preparing documents OR,BA/BS degree, and 3 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performedAdditional experience: Solid MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Preferred Qualifications:Clearance:Active Secret clearanceCertifications: Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Level II Certification in Contracting (or equivalent DAWIA) certificationEducation: Bachelor's degree Additional Experience: DoD contracting experience supporting similar requirements in Air Force Space Command/Space Force, Air Force Material Command, or similar missionsExperience with contract writing systems such as Procurement Desktop (PD2), CON-IT, and/or ConWriteExperience with Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS)Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)Additional Information:Location: Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs, COHybrid: 20-40% telework within the Colorado Springs areaTravel: Expect less than 5% travel#LI-JK1 Company Overview Odyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
