Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, highly technical Backend Engineer with deep domain expertise in Python and Django Rest Framework (DRF) to architect, extend, and maintain our core serverless and transactional API endpoints. In this hands-on engineering seat, you will hold absolute technical accountability for developing modular functionality across both consumer-facing and internal operational dashboards. Moving beyond basic script compilation, you will optimize database retrieval routines, manage asynchronous backend microservices, and ensure smooth data flows between distinct platform layers. This position demands an AI-augmented developer who can use modern prompt tooling to drive delivery speeds without sacrificing test-suite coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• API Architecture & Extensions: Design, engineer, and deploy high-performance RESTful APIs natively using Python and Django Rest Framework (DRF) wrappers.
• Database Layer Optimization: Program and maintain highly efficient data persistent tiers across structured relational schemas and NoSQL instances, with an emphasis on PostgreSQL .
• Requirement Analysis & Design: Analyze abstract client criteria to translate complex behavioral workflows into clean, extensible technical requirements and modular backend segments.
• System Troubleshooting & Triage: Audit, isolate, and mitigate runtime execution latencies, deep logic errors, and memory leaks across legacy and greenfield micro-environments.
• AI Workflow Integration: Incorporate advanced AI-powered developer utilities into your daily software engineering loops to maintain superior code velocity and operational efficiency.
• Airtight Automated Verification: Structure extensive behavioral validation strategies, authoring clean unit and integration tests using pytest and mock libraries.
• Isolated Container Deployments: Package, maintain, and configure local, staging, and production app environments using multi-stage Docker containers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of verified professional software development history building and supporting large-scale, production-grade web applications.
• Advanced programmatic mastery inside the **Python language combined with expert-level command of Django Rest Framework (DRF)**.
• Deep structural grasp of advanced computer science concepts, including Data Structures, Algorithmic complexity optimization, and design patterns.
• Demonstrated history of using generative AI tools natively inside software deployment pipelines to maximize code throughput.
• Proficiency navigating source control engines and collaborative repository architectures using Git .
