We are rapidly expanding and looking for a professional, self-motivated individual to fill the role of Stock Manager.ResponsibilitiesThe Stock Manager is responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity, efficiency and customer service as well as managing the team responsible stocking items on the shelves and ensuring the neat, orderly condition of the store.We only want dynamic, career-minded people who are willing to dedicate themselves to this job.Maintain a high level of productivity, efficiency and customer serviceNot a supervisory roleEnsure customer service goals are continuously metFormulate and enforce picking goals for each area/zone of the warehouse.Ensure dock to stock for most lines within 72 hours.Work with purchasing to develop and implement procedures for unloading orders from vendors and stocking them on our shelves.Ensure trucks/ trailers are efficiently and accurately loaded/ unloaded to support the efficient movement of goods and materials to their destinations to fulfill commitment to our customers and support sales objectives.Work with dispatchers and outbound production team to enhance customer service via delivery vehicles.Check in and post orders from hubs and vendorsMaintain an accurate count of inventoryAssist parts pullers to locate and identify partsHandle damaged deliveries, report damaged merchandise to shippers and vendorsCoordinate with store manager and purchasing on inventory updates and replacementsPerform other related duties as assignedOversee operations:Maintain a meticulous standard for cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the warehouse.Maintain a safe working environment. Ensure that safety and compliance practices meet DOT and OSHA standardsMaintain 5S warehouse principles are administered and followed on a routine basisManage carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) and local (contract) delivery relationshipsQualificationsMust have 2-4 years experience as a stock managerExpertise in supply chain, logistics, and time sensitive distribution requiredExperience with WMS/ inventory management system, RF technology and conveyor technologyMust possess ability to multi-task and adjust to dynamic order flow fluctuations as neededMust be a self-starter and possess the ability to identify areas drifting behind in production and pro-actively take action to get back on trackExperience in tracking metrics, including key performance indicators such as inbound/outbound productivity.Knowledge of automotive parts preferredForklift, Hazmat and OSHA Certifications preferredClean/ valid drivers license preferredAbility (with or without reasonable accommodation) to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, stand/ walk for up to 10 hours, able to squat, bend and reach, able to climb and descend stairs safely (applies to locations with stairs)Ability to work powered equipment (forklift, cherry picker etc)Maintain and promote workplace safetySecuring and transferring cash or other assets.EEOWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
