CNC Machinist

Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to program, set up, and operate CNC milling and lathe machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities Program CNC machines using Master cam or Surf Cam for one-off and small-to-medium production runs. Set up and operate HAAS CNC mills, lathes, and 4th-axis machines. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications. Create machine setups and fixtures to meet dimensional requirements. Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments. Troubleshoot machining issues, adjust programs, and replace worn cutting tools. Perform preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Ensure product quality and coordinate with management and quality control teams. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; further education preferred. CNC machining, programming, setup, and operation experience. Proficiency in Mastercam or Surf Cam. Experience with HAAS CNC mills, conventional/CNC lathes, and 4th-axis machines. Ability to interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T. Strong attention to detail, quality, safety, and reliability. Job shop machining experience preferred. Schedule Day Shift: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
