$18.50 - $26.50/hr* Full time Shifts may vary Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure members receive the freshest items. You will juggle several tasks and help members with bakery orders. The work is hard but rewarding as part of a large team focused on happy, satisfied members. What you'll do Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicate with team members; and be flexible to meet business needs across areas. Be an Expert: Prepare bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Commit to operational excellence; maintain work area according to company policies and procedures; ensure quality and date‑control standards for bakery items; secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member's experience, modeling high‑quality service and products; execute basics at the highest quality level; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement action plans; use the Open Door Policy; apply these in executing business processes. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt to change, difficulty, and feedback.
