Field Applications Engineer – Interconnect Products We are working with a fast-growing, publicly traded fabless semiconductor company looking for a Field Applications Engineer to support their West Coast interconnect customer base (PCIe Retimers, Switch products, and Active Cables). We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record supporting interconnect products in a customer-facing capacity. This person will own design-in, training, and technical support for the company's interconnect product portfolio. This is a results-oriented, high-visibility role working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, design engineering, operations, and finance teams, reporting directly to the company's VP of Sales and Business Development. This is a full-time role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Total Compensation: $350k+ (base + bonus) and stock options Responsibilities: Own first-level technical support for interconnect customers across the West Coast Partner with Applications Engineering, Design Engineering, CPU vendors, and IP vendors to resolve customer issues quickly Keep management informed on open issues and escalation needs Communicate directly with customers to understand needs and troubleshoot technical challenges Conduct onsite customer visits and serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers Requirements: Current experience as an FAE or AE in the interconnect industry Strong understanding of the data center ecosystem Experience supporting Tier 1 CSPs and their ODM partners Currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Experience navigating a multinational corporate environment to execute customer programs and align on technical roadmaps Self-motivated, professional, and team-oriented #J-18808-Ljbffr GNR - Global Network Recruiting
