Driver Class B

Driver (Class B): Monticello, Wisconsin

Our customer in Monticello, Wisconsin is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Driver to work full-time on 1st shift. In this role, you will split your time between driving a company truck for local transfers and supporting dock and warehouse operations to ensure materials are moved safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Responsibilities of the Driver:

• Drive a company truck to transfer supplies between local plant locations and vendors.
• Load, unload, and correctly place materials within the plant.
• Prepare loads, verify materials, and complete required paperwork and computer entries.
• Support shipping and receiving operations during busy dock times.
• Organize storage areas and keep racks and materials properly labeled.
• Monitor daily temperatures and report issues to maintenance as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow all material-handling procedures.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and upkeep, including checking oil and cleanliness.
• Assist with general dock and warehouse tasks, including preparing for the next day’s shipments.
• Maintain a clean, organized dock, cooler, and warehouse area.

Driver Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL required
• Current DOT medical card required and ability to maintain certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams.
• Ability to complete basic computer, reading, writing, and math tasks accurately.
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials weighing 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, reach, twist, and lift throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to work occasionally in cold environments (approximately 40°F).

Pay for Driver: $19.00/hour.
