Surgical Technologist - Cardiac, Full-Time Days, VOLOL Camden - SIGN ON BONUS

Application will be considered for the role of Surgical Technologist. Job Summary Under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Physician, the Surgical Technologist handles the instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during complex surgical procedures in the following specialties: Cardiac, Neurosurgical, Neuro‑interventional, and Transplant. The Technologist ensures quality patient care throughout the operative procedure and maintains the sterile field. Position Responsibilities Scrubs for, prepares, sets up and assists during any surgical procedure. Provides support to nursing and ancillary departments by transporting and transferring patients to and between units when necessary. Prepares instruments and supplies for future procedures. Collects and handles specimens according to policy and procedures. Position Qualifications Required Experience: One year OR training. Required Education: High school graduate or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program. Training / Certification / Licensure: BLS; Surgical Technologist Certification preferred. Hourly Rate: $30.37 - $47.20 (actual salary/rate will vary based on experience and internal equity).
