Position Summary

The Program Coordinator plays a key role in creating an outstanding member experience by overseeing leagues, tournaments, club programming, private events and daily member engagement.

This position serves as the primary point of contact for organized play and helps ensure our facility operates smoothly each day. While the primary focus is programming and member experience, the Program Coordinator will also occasionally serve as the Manager on Duty during scheduled shifts or when the Club Manager is unavailable.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, organizing events, and helping grow the game of pickleball.

Primary ResponsibilitiesProgramming & Events

• Coordinate and oversee daily club programming
• Organize and administer leagues and tournaments
• Assist with clinics, mixers, and special events
• Develop new programming ideas that increase member engagement
• Ensure programs begin on time and operate efficiently
• Track participation and gather member feedback to improve programming

Member Experience

• Welcome members and guests to the club
• Build positive relationships with players of all skill levels
• Answer questions and assist with member concerns
• Promote club programs, leagues, tournaments, and events
• Help create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere

Club Operations

• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Occasionally serve as the Manager on Duty during assigned shifts
• Support Front Desk operations during busy periods
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility
• Communicate maintenance or operational issues to the Club Manager

Team Support

• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
• Collaborate with the Club Manager to improve daily operations and member satisfaction

QualificationsPreferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience
• Pickleball experience - Both casually and organized
• Experience organizing leagues, tournaments, or events
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead with a positive attitude
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Basic computer skills
• Pickleball experience

Schedule

• Approximately 32–40 hours per week
• Primarily midday/afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Occasional flexibility for tournaments and special events

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
