Registered Nurse – Psychiatric / Behavioral HealthClarksburg, WV | Inpatient Behavioral HealthContract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Weekdays with Every Other Weekend | Extension PossibleKey ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to adult psychiatric and behavioral health patients in an inpatient settingCover shifts as needed to support staffing gaps; blocked schedule requests cannot be accommodatedDocument patient care and clinical information using the Avatar EMR systemMaintain patient safety and therapeutic environment in accordance with unit protocols and staff-to-patient ratiosComplete state-required fingerprinting in West Virginia at least 7–10 business days prior to start dateComplete all required orientation modules prior to arriving at the facility; modules must be finished before orientation or the candidate will not be permitted to attendRequired QualificationsActive West Virginia RN license or valid Compact RN license; pending license acceptableMinimum 1 year of RN experience requiredRequired certifications: BCLS (AHA), CPI, and First Aid — CPI and First Aid may be obtained during orientationMust be available to complete West Virginia state fingerprinting in-state at least 7–10 business days before start; candidates will not be cleared to begin without results on fileMust complete a signed DHHR Authorization and Release Form within 48 hours of contract signing (must be printed and hand-signed in blue ink)Locals are welcome to apply; first-time travelers are acceptedPreferred Experience / SkillsPrior experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health inpatient settingFamiliarity with the Avatar EMR systemExperience working with adult psychiatric populations, including forensic unitsWhy Join UsContract extension possible, offering continuity in a specialized behavioral health environmentOpportunity to gain or expand experience in psychiatric nursing with a structured onboarding and orientation process
