Here, youll be supported in progressing whatever your ambitions./ppThe Associate Field Service Technician is an entry-level Field Service Technician (FST) position responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, and service of Boston Scientific medical systems and devices. This is a hands-on, field-based role designed to build foundational technical skills in a customer-facing environment./ppIn this role, you will partner with experienced Field Service Technicians to learn how to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex medical equipment while delivering high-quality service to healthcare providers. You will contribute to customer satisfaction by supporting equipment performance, assisting with user training, and responding to service needs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams may include support for service events, documentation, and customer inquiries./ppThis role supports Boston Scientifics MedSurg Division, including products such as the Lumenis Holmium and CO? Laser Systems, as well as the GreenLight XPS Laser Systems./ppThe selected candidate will reside near Columbus, OH and travel to support training and service needs across the Central Region./ppYour responsibilities will include:/pulliInstruct customers on system operation and maintenance./liliAct as company liaison with customers for administrative and technical matters./liliAddress problems of diverse scope as a Field Service Technician./liliExercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solutions within defined practices and policies./liliPerform service activities including maintenance, modification, recalibration, and repair of Boston Scientifics Capital Equipment and accessories both in the field and in-house, as well as third-party capital equipment./liliReport all service activities using dedicated forms./liliEnsure customer satisfaction with BSC equipment and service./liliAdhere to applicable standard operating procedures to meet quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific./li/ulpRequired qualifications:/pulliAssociates degree (AA/AS) or technical diploma in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant technical experience demonstrating the required knowledge, skills, and abilities/liliBasic understanding of electronic systems, including analog and digital circuitry/liliAbility to learn troubleshooting and servicing of complex technical or medical equipment/liliStrong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset/liliAbility to travel approximately 75% of the time, including occasional short-notice travel/liliValid drivers license and ability to meet company driving requirements/li/ulpPreferred qualifications:/pulliBachelors degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field/liliPrior internship, co-op, or hands-on experience in a technical, biomedical, or field service environment/liliExposure to hospital or clinical environments/liliFamiliarity with lasers, optics, or medical device technology/liliCoursework or certification in Laser Technology, Electronics, or Biomedical Engineering/liliExperience using basic diagnostic tools and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)/li/ul/div
