Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

ICU - Surgical/Medical ICU

Shift: Nights Schedule options: 36 or 48 hours (48-hour schedule at straight time allowed) Weekends: Required; rotating weekend schedule

Patient population: Adults Beds: 32

Requirements:

• 2 years ICU experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certifications: PALS, CPI, NIHSS, TNCC
• Charting system: Epic (preferred)
• Licensure: Pending NM/Compact licenses accepted but must be obtained prior to start

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care for critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage ventilator support as needed.
• Administer medication and IV fluids, while monitoring for potential side effects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Support patients and their families through education and reassurance during critical care situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and reporting within the charting system.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 12 hours
• Pre-approved time off: One (list RTO at submittal; limited auto-approval may apply)
• Local candidates: 50-mile local radius — locals not accepted
• Prior facility staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
