Events Servers uphold and execute one of the most critical components in Farmington Country Clubs mission statement - that is, to professionally engage with our members and guests, and to provide them with the highest quality of service. The starting wage for this position is $15.00 per hour.Position Responsibilities:Prepare items for special event service in a proper and timely manner including, but not limited to, polishing service items, folding napkins, and setting tables;Set up buffets according to specifications of the banquet event order;Check Banquet Event Orders and tables for proper set-up;Greet members by name when seated at tables;Continuous floor presence during events;Deliver correct beverages and food to respective individuals and tables;Maintain table and floor cleanliness throughout event;Submit daily items requisitions to the Events Operations Manager;Properly manage, organize, and store meeting room supplies (e.g., linens, writing pads, pens, candy, etc.);Participate in inventory counts;Follow Club and Events Department safety procedures at all times;Report departmental needs (e.g., service items, equipment, etc.) and repairs to Events Operations ManagerQualificationsCandidate Qualifications:Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work in a collaborative environmentGood organizational skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize assignments to meet critical deadlinesAbility to work a flexible schedule, including days and weekendsAbility to work both as part of a team and independentlyAbility to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds
